OBIT: Daniel Joel Chambers, two-year-old son of Danny and Jody (Loose) Chambers of Rapid City, died Sunday at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, Division of the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He was born Jan. 9, 1989, in Traverse City. He was enrolled in the infant toddler program in the Traverse City Intermediate School District. He enjoyed books, music and computers. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Andrew Jonathan Chambers at home; his maternal grandparents, William and Dawn Loose of Rapid City; paternal grandparents, Omar and Darlyn Chambers of Plymouth; maternal great grandfather, E. Max Catt of Greenfield, Ind.; paternal great-grandmother, LaVera Chambers of Bowling Green, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Peoples Church in Kalkaska. The Rev. Bryan Shooks will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Friends may call at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska, from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening; from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; and at the church after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
